Congratulations to Matthew Phillips. Matthew was elected Chair of the Graduate Research Seminar of the 2014 Gordon Research Conference in Oceans and Human Health.

Congratulations to Akintomide Apara (Tommy)! Tommy successsfully defended his dissertation, “Regenerative Failure in the CNS: KLFs and Phosphorylation” on Monday July 29th, 2013. He returned to the Medical School, MS3 in August 2013.

Congratulation to Gustavo Munguba! Gustavo successfully defended his dissertation, “Investigation of Molecular & Clinical Applications Targeting Neurodegenerative Progression of Injured Retinal Ganglion Cells in the Mouse Retina on Wednesday July 24th, 2013. He returned to Medical School, MS3 in August 2013.

Congratulations to Stephanie Peacock! Stephanie successfully defended her dissertation, Exploitation of Distinct Androgen Receptor Pathways by Vav3 in Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer On Friday July 26th, 2013. She returned to Medical School, MS3 in August 2013.

Congratulations to Michael Kritzer-Cheren! Michael successfully defended his dissertation “Regulation of Cardiac Hypertrophy by mAKAP-Anchored RSK3” on Tuesday April 30th, 2013. He returned to Medical School MS3 in June 2013.

Congratulations to Randall Brenneman! Randall successfully defended his dissertation, “Potentiating Anti-tumor Immunity Using Aptamer-siRNA Conjugates” on Thursday July 11th, 2013. Randall will remain in his current lab as a postdoctoral student.
